Calthos is a Veteran-owned small business (VOSB) sole proprietorship located in Woodstock, GA. Calthos specializes in providing science-based National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation review and consulting services.  We also provide environmental policy formulation services to Federal, state, and local governments and other organizations concerned with using the environment in a just, sustainable manner. I have many years of experience implementing and teaching NEPA and am one of the few people who thinks NEPA is both substantive and procedural. To take a break from NEPA issues I often go trout fishing in Northern Georgia or the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and stargaze.

 

I am the former Southeast Regional NEPA Coordinator for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Marine Fisheries Service in St. Petersburg, Florida. I am a retired U.S. Army officer.
